Call me Reece.

I'm a Product Designer living in New York, NY.

Illustrator. Traveler. INTJ.

With 3+ years working with start-ups, armed with my never-ending quest to ask the why, I’m dedicated to the value of collaborative work - together we can find the how.

Right now, I'm at WarnerMedia and cheapskate.io helping develop their e-commerce plugin (compatible with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge) and mobile app user experiences with a designer-developer team of 18+ across 3+ time zones.

Previously, I was at The Half-Earth Project and PopCharge, both projects where I spearheaded teams to build one website, a mobile app and two product strategies for non-profit organizations and clients.

I’m designing products today because my diverse interests and skillsets were invaluable in my approach to solutions-based thinking and user-centered ideation.

Before becoming a product designer, I was designing for a very specific user in mind - menswear.

I studied at Parsons the New School for Design and majored in Fashion Design — somehow I graduated after four years of no sleep (well, maybe some).

Pen and paper.

Although I’m in the tech industry, I started with pen and paper as an illustrator and fashion designer - I also take notes by hand too!

Although I have strong roots in visual design, I have a holistic view of products - how does design impact users?

I use design to create relationships.

As a millenial, I’m uniquely positioned to have experienced growing up without today’s platforms, and transitioning into adulthood in tandem with the social media boom.

While we’re increasingly connected online, we start to forget that there’s a person on the other side of the screen.

I’m interested in building relationships between people - because there’s always a new story to be told.

I experienced the teamLab Digital Forest exhibit in Tokyo in 2019 - this exhibition marries digital art with an interactive physical playground.
